Three MASD students recently hit the slopes in the Pennsylvania Special Olympics Area M skiing competition, and all took home top finishes.
Middletown Area Middle School sixth grader Jonah McClinton-Belle placed second in the skills plus category, and seventh grader Madyson Mena took home a first-place finish in the skills competition. Freshman Jameson-Lee Stouffer placed first in the novice competition.
Jameson-Lee also competed in the Special Olympics Pennsylvania Winter Games, where he took home a first-place finish. This was his second time participating at the state level.
