MAHS Hosts Annual Post-Secondary Fair
As part of the MAHS career readiness initiative, juniors and seniors attended the school’s annual post-secondary fair and met with representatives from more than 30 colleges and universities, trade organizations, and military branches.
Junior Isa Markert, who is interested in pursuing a career in music education, said he hoped to get an idea of schools that have quality music education and theater programs. Junior Makayla Long said she wanted to find a college where she could reach her career goal, which is to be a special education teacher.
The event provides students the opportunity to learn more about post-secondary options and begin to narrow down the next phase of their education or vocation.
