Thanks to GIANT’s Feeding School Kids initiative, Middletown Area School District received $8,185.69 to expand school food programs. MASD is grateful to GIANT and the Middletown community for 'rounding up' purchases to help ensure all students have access to the nutrition they need to learn and thrive.
The Feeding School Kids initiative is just one partnership MASD has to combat childhood hunger. The District partners with the Blue Raider Foundation, the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, and MidWest Food Bank to provide families with Raider Packs, which contain breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack options to cover weekend meals.
The District also offers a summer feeding program. More information will be available towards the end of the school year.
