Congratulations to the Middletown Area High School Performing Arts Department on the Apollo Award nomination for Outstanding Dance Number with the number “Anything Goes” from the spring musical. The school also received Honorable Mention for Best Overall Musical in the small school category
Senior Rachel Gatesman received Honorable Mention for a Lead Actress in a Musical for her role as Reno Sweeney in
Anything Goes.
Modeled after The Tony Awards for Broadway productions, the awards recognize outstanding achievement by local high school students in their musical and play productions.
Winners will be announced at a ceremony on May 17 at the Hershey Theatre.
