Cameron Wegert placed 2nd in the PA State Bowling Championships on Friday, March 17, 2023 in Erie, PA. He earned the top seed for the stepladder finals by posting a 6 game qualifying score of 1286. Cameron lost in the championship match to Ayden Davis of Antietam, PA 278-192. Last month, Cameron won the PIAA District 3 Bowling Title and was selected as Student Athlete of the Week by WGAL News 8 and was one of Middletown Area School District's Athletes Of The Month.
In addition to his individual success this year, he helped the Blue Raiders team to the Harrisburg Area Interscholastic Bowling League title as well a win in the Lancaster-Lebanon Baker Team Tournament and a runner-up finish in the Ice Breaker Invitational Tournament.
