Honoring Veterans

Middletown Area Middle School (MAMS) will mark Veterans Day with its annual Veterans Day Breakfast and Program on Tuesday, November 11. The event is open to all veterans in the Middletown community and begins at 8:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast, followed by a program starting at 9:30 a.m. featuring guest speaker EM3 Gilbert Morrissey.

Registration is not necessary, but is appreciated to get a count of attendees - Veterans Day RSVP.

EM3 Morrissey is a 1983 graduate of Middletown Area High School and served in the U.S. Coast Guard. The program will also feature student essays and performances by the MAMS Band.

MAMS is located at 215 Oberlin Road, Middletown.

The event is sponsored by American Legion Post 594, VFW Post 1620, Moose Lodge Post 410, Lower Swatara Lions Club, and Middletown Anglers and Hunters.
