Wednesday, September 11, 2024, marks the 23rd anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, Pentagon, and the crash of Flight 93 in Somerset, Pennsylvania.
To make sure future generations of Pennsylvania students honor and never forget the events of 9/11, a new Pennsylvania law under Act 55 requires all schools to hold a moment of silence to reflect on the significance of the day. Middletown Area School District students will mark the occasion with a 30 second moment of silence at 10:03 a.m., the time Flight 93 went down in Somerset.
