School might be out for summer, but there is still a lot of activity in all our buildings and across campus as members of the MASD operations team prepare for the upcoming school year. Areas of focus for the Department throughout the summer months include deep cleaning and sanitizing classrooms, waxing building floors, and landscaping and groundskeeping. Our transportation team is working to arrange bus routes and schedules for the upcoming school year.
The MASD Operations Department is composed of nearly 50 full and part-time employees, all with different areas of expertise and responsibilities that keep MASD up and running.
A vital part of the Department are tradesmen Ken Blouch, Mike Moore, and Todd Selcher, who have a combined three decades of service to the District. On any given day, the trio can be found at any one of our buildings working on a planned project, assisting with a special event, or addressing an issue that may arise.
MASD appreciates and values all members of our Operations Department and is thankful for what they do for every staff member and every student every day!
