
Congratulations to our middle and high school students who participated in regional band and chorus events through the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association and the Dauphin County Music Educators Association. The talents of many of these students will also be on display this Spring at the
upcoming high school and middle school musicals.
The events were held at schools throughout the area and students had the opportunity to play and sing under the direction of collegiate conductors, including Dr. Christopher Cicconi, Director of Bands and Professor of Wind Conducting at James Madison University, Dr. Michquelena Ferguson, associate director of athletic bands at Penn State University, and Dr. Kimberly Adams, director of choral activities at West Chester University.

MAHS musicians who participated in the Dauphin County Music Educators Association County Band Festival were junior Riley Nye, freshman Charley Carnes, senior Danika Horn, freshman Elise Freeman, sophomores Daniel Orris and Jillian Hess, and junior Zoe Handwerk.
