Mr. Middletown 2022 Sets New Record
The Class of 2022 broke the previous Mr. Middletown record with a total of $19,820.99 raised for the Four Diamonds Fund. The man pageant was not only a huge success in the amount raised but in the entertainment value. The 10 contestants started with an interview question followed by the "You Wear" competition. The audience was then wowed with a wide variety of talents including the surprising skills of Anthony Stains as he sang a country song while accompanying himself on the guitar. The audience was also awed by the "amazing" telepathic skills of Mason Swartz and the magic skills of Gavin Guckavan who transformed Dagan Hughes into Mr. Govern. There were weightlifting antics by Jonah Troup and Aiden Cannon, lip syncing by Todd Turner, a poetic reading by Matt Wagner, the dancing skills of Tate Leach and his homies, and a glow-in-the-dark dance by Vinny Corradi. And who could forget the beautiful interpretive dance by Dagan Hughes and Caden Paul?
After every penny was counted, Caden Paul was crowned Mr. Middletown 2022.
Behind the scenes several other seniors were running around in the dark keeping the show running seamlessly.
Way to go, Class of 2022, for setting a new bar and for giving of your time and talents FOR THE KIDS!
