Kindergarten registration for the 2026-2027 school year is now open. To enroll in kindergarten, children must be five years old on or before September 1, 2026.

The 2026-2027 school year will be especially exciting for our kindergarteners, as they will be the first group to attend Middletown Area Primary School (MAPS). This school will serve grades K-3 and will feature state-of-the-art classrooms and innovative learning spaces.

Join MASD for Kindergarten Parent Orientation Tuesday, April 28
Kindergarten Parent Orientation is a special night for parents and caregivers of incoming kindergarten students to begin the school-family partnership and learn about Middletown Area Primary School (MAPS), meet principals, teachers, and staff, as well as get helpful tips to prepare children for school.
The event will take place Tuesday, April 28, from 6 - 7 p.m. at Reid Elementary School, 201 Oberlin Road, Middletown.
