Construction on the Middletown Area Primary School (MAPS) will soon be complete, and in just a few months, the doors will open to our youngest learners! Brick is on the building’s exterior, flooring has been installed, and crews continue to work on drywall, ductwork, and painting.
As part of the overall construction project, Reid Elementary will be converted to a grade 4 and 5 building.
MAPS will be located at the rear of the current campus, behind Middletown Area Middle School (MAMS); the District administration building will be annexed as part of MAPS.
The District operations and maintenance building will also be located on the complex. Construction of the operations facility is complete, and the staff is now in the new building.
