When you drive past Middletown Area High School you can’t help but notice the beautiful new athletic turf stadium that is nearing completion! We are very excited to have this new venue opening in August just in time for the 2021-22 fall sports season where field hockey and boys’ and girls’ soccer teams will play. The field will also be used for marching band practice, Seven Sorrows and Middletown Youth Club football, and high school physical education classes. The new Blue Raider Sports Complex at Middletown Area High School will be dedicated on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. We hope to see our community come out to tour the new facility. The Middletown Area Blue Raider Foundation will be co-sponsoring the dedication of the new stadium and is also conducting its annual fundraising campaign. Since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the cancellation of the Foundation’s main fundraisers - the annual Craft Fair and the Nite at the Races - we are looking to raise funds in a unique way that commemorates the grand opening of the new sports complex. From July 1 through August 1, a donation to the Middletown Area Blue Raider Foundation will secure your name or your company’s name on a special donor recognition plaque that will be erected at the entrance to the Blue Raider Sports Complex. Please consider supporting the Foundation through this opportunity. Funds collected will support educational opportunities for students of the Middletown Area School District in 2021-22 and beyond. Since this 501(c)(3) organization was established in 2016, a total of $155,000 has been raised to provide scholarships for deserving seniors graduating from MAHS, mini-grants for teachers to fund special classroom projects, and field trip opportunities for students.

- Foundation Provider: $250 to $499
- Foundation Ambassador: $100 to $249
- Foundation Patron: $25 to $99
