MAHS Senior Named to Best and Brightest List

Congratulations to MAHS senior Cassidy Pomraning who was named to the prestigious PennLive and The Patriot News’ Best and Brightest Class of 2025 list.

Cassidy was among 20 high school seniors from 18 central Pennsylvania high schools that represent the potential of this graduating class and was selected from 150 applications. 

Cassidy is the MAHS Class of 2025 Valedictorian and is a member of the National Honor Society, an AP Scholar with Distinction, and a member of the MAHS girls volleyball team. This season she was named a 2024 Mid Penn Volleyball Capital Division Third Team All Star. She was the MAHS January Rotary Student of the Month and is also a member of Brainbusters, Science Olympiad, and Mini-THON.

In the community she is a junior coach for Girls on the Run and a middle school spring league coach for Spooky Nook girls’ volleyball.

As part of her Best and Brightest profile, Cassidy named Mr. Trevor Davis, MAHS gifted teacher, as her mentor.

Cassidy’s future plans are to attend Penn State University to study chemical engineering.
