Mini-THON Raises Nearly $39,000 For The Kids
Posted on 05/05/2025
The MAHS 2025 Mini-THON raised a near record-breaking total of $38,763.73 for the Four Diamonds Fund to fight childhood cancer!

The total includes the $31, 369 raised as part of the annual Mr. Middletown Man Pageant, where 14 senior boys showcased their talents, interview skills and fashion sense to raise funds for Four Diamonds. In the weeks leading up to the April 25 pageant, contestants also collected donations, all with the hope of raising the most money to be crowned Mr. Middletown 2025.
Senior Landon Cochran raised nearly $7,000 to take home the title.
The mission of Four Diamonds was brought close to home at the 2025 Mr. Middletown event as 2015 MAHS graduate Madison (Lewis) Hartman shared her story of being served by Four Diamonds. In middle school Madison was diagnosed with blood cancer and shared how funds raised through Mini-THON events take the financial burden off of families, allowing them to focus on caring for their child.
Madison has been cancer free for 14 years and is an oncology nurse, using her compassion and experience to care for others.
Mini-THON has been a tradition at MASD since 2012, and through annual events like Mr. Middletown (starting in 2014) and other building-level fundraisers, organizers estimate more than $344,000 has been raised for Four Diamonds and the mission to end childhood cancer.
