Applications are being accepted for a full-time, 12 month first shift sports turf technician position available January 2023. Responsible for insuring the readiness and safety of all outdoor playing fields and recreation facilities. Provide the District with official, safe, attractive, clean athletic and recreational play areas, as well as assist groundskeepers in the maintenance of District property.
Applicants must possess an Associate’s degree in Sports Turf Management or other related field. Bachelor's degree in Sports Turf Management or other related field is preferred. Prior experience in the supervisor of staff or leading a team is preferred.
Must possess and maintain a Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture Public Pesticide Certification #23 (If incumbent does not possess at the time of hire, he/she must obtain within 120 days of employment.)
