REMOTE LEARNING DAYS & LAST DAY OF SCHOOL

The last day of remote learning for students in Grades K-12 is Friday, May 29. All student work must be submitted online no later than Sunday, May 31 at 8:00 p.m. to receive credit for the 4th marking period.

BALANCES DUE
Outstanding balances can be viewed in PowerSchool. To find out what the charges are for, please contact your school's secretary.

CAFETERIA BALANCES
An email was sent to all households with details about cafeteria balances. The letter can be viewed here.

4TH QUARTER REPORT CARDS
Fourth quarter report cards will be issued electronically on Wednesday, June 10 via secure email using the same process that was used for quarter three.

FOOD SERVICE
The Summer Food Program will begin Monday, June 1, 2020 at Fink and MAHS. It will be a continuation of the meal distribution that the District has offered over the past two months. 

EXTENDED SCHOOL YEAR (ESY)
At this time, ESY is scheduled to begin on June 16, 2020 and end on July 16, 2020 for special education students whose Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) recommend this programming. We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and adjust accordingly, if necessary.

SUMMER SCHOOL
The administration is currently reviewing the plans for summer school and will provide further details in the coming weeks for eligible students.


RETRIEVING PERSONAL ITEMS & DROPPING OFF DISTRICT ITEMS

IF IT BELONGS TO YOU, WE WILL RETURN IT:
contents of desks, lockers, band lockers, and gym lockers; spirit wear; school photos; medications, etc.

IF IT BELONGS TO US, PLEASE RETURN IT:
band uniforms, library books, textbooks, sports uniforms, *iPads/chargers, etc.

*EXCEPTION FOR iPADS: if you were instructed to keep your child’s iPad for the Extended School Year program, the Title I reading program, or an AP/honors course, it does not need to be returned.

YEARBOOKS
Some have arrived, some have not. Since this varies between schools, your school will keep you informed. 

DROP-OFF/PICK-UP SCHEDULES:

MONDAY, JUNE 1 – GRADES 3-5
Elementary students (Grades 3-5) will return their iPads and other District items to their schools according to the following schedule. Students will also receive a bag containing all personal belongings they left at school. The school nurse will also be available for pick-up of any medication that has been stored at the school. NOTE: If you have children in multiple elementary grades, you may drop-off all their iPads at once. 

Grade 5 – 8:00-10:00 a.m.
Grade 4 – 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Grade 3 – 2:30-4:00 p.m.

**If you are unable to pick up your iPad during the assigned grade level timeframe, please contact your building principal who will make arrangements for drop-off from 4:00-4:30 p.m.**

WEDNESDAY, JUNE 3 – GRADES 6-8
Middle School students will return their iPads and other District items to MAMS according to the following schedule. Students will also receive a bag containing all personal belongings they left at school. The school nurse will also be available for pick-up of any medication that has been stored at the school. NOTE: If you have children in multiple middle level grades, you may drop-off all their iPads at once. 

Grade 8 – 8:00-10:00 a.m.
Grade 7 – 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Grade 6 – 1:00-3:00 p.m.

**If you are unable to pick up your iPad during the assigned grade level timeframe, please contact your building principal who will make arrangements for drop-off from 3:30-4:30 p.m.**

THURSDAY, JUNE 4 – GRADES K-2

Use Rear Entrance to Life Fitness Center
All underclassmen are asked to return their iPads and other District items according to the following schedule. Students will be given a bag containing all personal belongings they left at school. The school nurse will also be available for pick-up of any medication that has been stored at the school.

June 4 - Grades 9-11 – 5:00-8:00 p.m. (rear of school at entrance to Life Fitness Center/Weight Room)

June 5 – Grades 9-11 – 12:00-3:00 p.m. (same location as above)
