Dr. Chelton Hunter

Hometown

I was born and raised in Middletown and graduated from Middletown Area High School. I currently live in Lower Swatara.

Education

I received my Undergraduate Degree in History with a minor in secondary education from Loyola College in Maryland.  I then received my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from The Pennsylvania State University.  I also received my Principal’s Certification from The Pennsylvania State University and my Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Immaculata University. I recently completed the Doctor of Education Program at Immaculata University.

Educational Experience

I spent the bulk of my teaching experience teaching 8th grade social studies for 7 years at Feaser Middle School.  I also spent another year teaching social studies in a neighboring District.  Currently, this will be my eighth year as principal at Fink Elementary School.

Hobbies/Interests

I enjoy running, watching the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles, lifting weights, and playing golf.  Lastly, you may see me in the neighborhood on my roller hockey skates taking my dog for a stroll.
