Principal Message

Welcome to Middletown Area Middle School's Web Site. Our web site allows you to gain information and stay abreast of events taking place at the Middle School. It also provides a method for teachers, counselors and administrators to share some of the exciting events that are part of our educational programs. Please join us as often as possible on the web site or at one of our events to get a first hand experience of "Blue Raider Pride."

I believe that the entire school community (parents, teachers, administrators) shares a common goal -- we're here to help students learn and succeed. Our job is to facilitate student learning -- learning about various school subjects, themselves, the world. All adults must guide students in understanding their talents, gifts and strengths. To do this, we must nurture the whole child academically, socially and emotionally. Educators must engage not only the minds of students, but we must capture their hearts as well.

My vision for the school is one where every child feels safe and accepted and where each child experiences a sense of belonging within the middle school community. In addition, all students should be challenged to work to their highest potential.

I ask your assistance in supporting your student's education by encouraging them, and keeping them focused on performing to their very best ability. Please stay in contact with teachers about your child's progress in an effort to affirm success or in working together in setting new goals of achievement. Student success is achieved when responsibility is accepted with integrity and purpose. If we all work together and communicate effectively, our individual and school community goals can be attained.

As always, we encourage you to join us as often as your schedule permits as a spectator at our many fine co-curricular activities. We invite you to support us in keeping "Blue Raider Pride" alive and well.
