Pupils, with the permission of parents, and school authorization, may drive vehicles to school. Students will park in the designated areas in the rear parking lot, heading their cars into the curb. Parking registration stickers will be issued and affixed to the rear-view mirror. A designated space or number will not be assigned to each student driver. Pupils driving cars to school for one day only will be expected to log the make, model, year, color, and license number in the office. Any violation of personal safety, traffic laws, or courteous driving practices will result in the suspension of auto privileges. Serious violation of student driving privileges could lead to out of school suspension.
Vehicle Traffic Control
- NO PARKING within the outer circle except school buses.
- Parking within the inner circle is RESERVED for employees and visitors only.
- NO PARKING or stopping on marked crosswalk.
- NO PARKING at the side loading dock, fire lanes, fields, or seeded areas.
- NO PARKING on rear drive and upper level of rear lot.
- A 5-mph speed limit must be observed while on school property.
- Students picked up or dropped off should use the auditorium entrance/exit before or after school, NOT THE FRONT OR SIDE OF THE BUILDING.
- NO PARKING in white painted curbed areas on rear parking lot. This area is reserved for staff, traveling teachers and cafeteria workers.
- Students who are persistently disruptive, chronic attendance problems, in violation of school rules, or academically unmotivated and unsuccessful are subject to lose driving privilege.
