About the Principal

Chelton Hunter , Ed.D.
Principal

I was born and raised in Middletown and graduated from Middletown Area High School. I currently live in Lower Swatara.

I received my Undergraduate Degree in History with a minor in secondary education from Loyola College in Maryland. I then received my Master’s Degree in Teaching and Curriculum from The Pennsylvania State University. I also received my Principal’s Certification from The Pennsylvania State University and my Superintendent Letter of Eligibility from Immaculata University. Lastly, I received my Doctorate in Educational Administration from Immaculata University. I spent the bulk of my teaching experience teaching 8th grade social studies for 7 years at Feaser Middle School. I also spent another year teaching social studies in a neighboring District. Currently, this will be my ninth year as principal at Fink Elementary School.

I enjoy riding my Harley Davidson motorcycle, watching the Philadelphia Flyers and Eagles, lifting weights, and playing golf. Lastly, you may see me in the neighborhood on my roller hockey skates taking my dog for a stroll.
