“Working Out to Help Out”
The holiday season is upon us, and what better time of year than now to think of others. Miss Herlocher and Mr. MacDonald are excited to kick off our first ever “Working Out to Help Out” event. This event is being done at Kunkel, Reid and Fink Elementary Schools to help fight hunger across Central Pennsylvania, while also helping our own students learn more about fitness related activities.
Each elementary school is holding a canned food drive to benefit the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank. This is being done in conjunction with physical education classes. Miss Herlocher (Kunkel & Fink Physical Education Teacher) and Mr. MacDonald (Reid & Fink Physical Education Teacher) are asking that you please send in one or two canned food items with your son/daughter anytime between now and December 12, 2011 to help us to work out and help out others in need.
