Middletown’s Homecoming is one of the highlights
of the year! Raider Country goes all out with activities beginning on Friday evening for MAHS alumni.

6:30pm – Annual Alumni Dinner at MAHS
Cost for Alumni is $25.00. Following dinner the Alumni Association will hold their annual meeting, awards, recognition of guests and homecoming court followed by socializing and refreshments. This year’s Honor Class is the Class of 1968 and our Grand Marshalls are the 1968 Boys Class B State Championship Basketball Team!

7:30-10am – All-You-Can-Eat Pancake Breakfast and Sports Memorabilia Auction

In tribute to the Honor Class of 1968, donations by the classes of 1992 and 1993 have allowed us to webcast the homecoming football game and the halftime crowning of the Homecoming Queen. The stream will be available shortly before kickoff at 2:00 p.m. and can be accessed HERE.

Ryan square RYAN BERSTLER is the son of Dennis & Keri Berstler. In school, Ryan is and has been a key athlete on the wrestling team. Outside of school, he also enjoys being in nature by fishing and hiking. His favorite thing about MAHS is the quality of the new building. Ryan also plans on attending a four-year college after graduation, and truly believes that “it is an honor” to have been selected for Homecoming Court by his class.
Abby square ABRIELLE SPAGNOLO is the daughter of Jim Spagnolo and Tammy Shatto-Thomas. Abbey has been on the volleyball team all four years of her high school career and has joined TV Production this year. She loves drawing and creating art, and she enjoys activities such as biking and hiking. She truly values MAHS for, “All of the different ways to get involved with so many things. Everyone gets equal opportunities.” Abbey’s future plans are to enter a two-year program offered by HACC to become a Medical Lab Technician. Additionally, Abbey is extremely surprised, thankful, and honored to have been selected for the 2018 Homecoming Court.
Tanner square TANNER ALBRIGHT is the son of Daniel Albright and Jen Gray. He has been a part of the MAHS cross country team all four years of high school. Running is not Tanner’s only athletic interest, as weightlifting and biking are some of his other hobbies. Tanner plans on becoming a Navy Corpsman after he graduates. Tanner is very grateful for and appreciative of MAHS for offering many opportunities in various career fields. To all his friends and peers who selected him to be on the 2018 Homecoming Court, Tanner says with the upmost of sincerity, “Holy Smokes!”
Hayli square HAYLI AKAKPO-MARTIN is the daughter of Atah & Suson Akakpo-Martin. She is heavily involved in MAHS athletics as she is both the varsity soccer and varsity softball captain. Hayli loves being active and says that, “My favorite thing about MAHS is playing school sports.” Additionally, she makes time for various roles in clubs such as Senior Class Vice President, Student Council Treasurer, and is also a member of Mini-THON, Link Crew and Key Club. Hayli loves making fun memories with her friends, particularly at every Friday night football game. After high school, Hayli plans on continuing her soccer career at the collegiate level while obtaining her bachelors in Marketing/Business Management. “I am very grateful to have been selected to be a part of the 2018 Homecoming Court. It is an honor to be able to represent my family, community, school, and peers.”
Aiden square AIDEN SESSA is the son of Matt & Jodi Sessa. He is a key athlete for both the soccer and track and field teams. Aiden is also the Senior Class President, and is involved in Student Council, National Honor Society, and FBLA. He enjoys watching movies and playing video games. One aspect Aiden really admires about MAHS is how “there is something for everyone if you take advantage of the opportunities provided.” Aiden’s future plans are to study business and information technology in college. “I am honored to have been selected for the 2018 Homecoming Court.”
Alex square ALEXANDRIA KENNEDY is the daughter of Brian & Kim Kennedy. Alex is incredibly active in the high school as Student Body President, Student Council President, Secretary of the Senior Class, as well as a member of Key Club, Mini THON, and PRIDE club. She also plays for both the volleyball and softball team. Alex loves the pride that Middletown students have for their school and community. She also appreciates how much the school prepares students for life after high school. Alex has decided to attend Wilkes University to major in Mechanical Engineering while being in Air Force ROTC. “I am very excited and honored that my classmates chose me to be on the court and proud to be a member of Raider Nation.”
Ben square BENJAMIN KNISELY is the son of Ed & Shirley Knisely. Ben holds many leadership positions in the school: varsity soccer captain, president of the National Honor Society, FBLA treasurer, and Mini THON Chair. He’s also involved with Student Council, Link Crew, PRIDE CLUB, track and field, and is about to earn his Eagle Scout Award. The dedication and friendliness of the MAHS staff is one of his favorite things about Middletown, along with the many memories he’s shared with friends. Ben enjoys traveling as much as possible, plus hunting, fishing, sailing, and snowboarding. He aims to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. “I feel honored to be nominated by my classmates to represent our school on this year’s Homecoming Court.”
Jade square JADE SENIOR is the daughter of Leslie Marra and J.T. & Jill Senior. Jade loves working out and playing sports such as basketball, track and field, and soccer, where she is the varsity captain. Along with sports, she a member of PRIDE club, Mini-THON, Key Club, Link Crew, Student Council, National Honor Society, and is a Senior Class Officer. One thing that Jade truly loves about Middletown is, “The amazing staff that has helped me get through my four years of high school.” After graduation, Jade hopes to travel more and attend Temple University. “I am so excited and honored to be a part of this amazing experience where I will be representing my class, family and community.”
Jaxon square JAXSON SENIOR is the son J.T. & Jill Senior. Throughout high school, Jaxson has made baseball one of his focuses, and this year he also became a member of TV Production. He enjoys being outside to go fishing, hiking, and camping, especially with all of the friends he has made in high school. Jaxson intends on going to a trade school to learn and obtain a career in the electrical field. “I am honored to be selected by my classmates to represent the Middletown Area High School.”
Hannah square HANNAH WILSBACH is the daughter of Greg & Beth Wilsbach. She had the opportunity to represent Middletown on the 2018 FCCLA National Team. She also represents Middletown by being the Key Club President, varsity volleyball captain, and a Mini-THON Chair. Hannah is also in PRIDE Club, FCCLA, Link Crew and Ski Club. All of these activities have been some of her favorite things throughout high school, along with attending football games and having teachers who have helped and supported her. Hannah plans on attending Wilson College after graduation. “I love being a part of the 2019 senior class and I am honored to represent them, my family, and my community by being a part of Homecoming Court.”
